The Process

Initial Enquiry & Quote

Every project starts with a phone call. We will ask lots of questions in order to understand what you are trying to achieve in respect of functionality, as well as the look.  We will also ask about timelines, as our lead time varies depending what other projects we are working on.  If you have any plans or drawings, it is incredibly helpful for us to see those.  Following this conversation we will provide you with an indicative quote; if this is within your budget we will arrange a site visit.  During the site visit we will assess the space and carry out an initial site survey.  We will discuss your vision, show you samples and advise you as to what is achievable.  After the site visit, if there has been a change to the design, specification or layout we will update our quote.

At this stage we will issue a deposit invoice and upon receipt of your payment we will start working on your initial drawings which will be sent to you for your review.  We will take on board your feedback and issue updated drawings.

Design & Production

This collaborative design process will continue until you are completely happy with the joinery design.  Before production begins we will return to site to double-check all dimensions and reassess the space.  If there have been meaningful changes to the design, specification or layout, we will update our quote.  Once the drawings have been signed off, production will commence.  We will keep you updated about the progress of your joinery and are happy to send you photos.  One of the team who was not involved in the production will then check the joinery, opening each door and pulling out each drawer.

Once the joinery has been made we will issue a stage payment invoice, which needs to be paid prior to fitting.  The joinery will then be dismantled ready for spraying with primer or lacquer.

We will agree a fitting start date with you and let you know how long we expect fitting to take.  One of the design team will be on site to kick off the fitting and will be back periodically to check on progress, including carrying out a final check and sign-off.  Upon completion of the fitting we will issue our final invoice.  Our hope is that your new joinery doesn't just meet your expectations, but exceeds them.
